Political parties water down green policies
Whilst our planet boils
Corporations make, sell and advertise things we don’t need
Whilst our planet boils
Millions still seek summer sun
Whilst the forests burn
And our planet boils
Putin still wants Ukraine
Whilst our planet boils
Millions still vote for the freedom
To own their own cars
That sit doing nothing most of the year
Whilst our planet boils
Mental health worsens
Whilst we deny
That our planet boils
Inequalities deepen
Poverty worsens
As our planet boils
Leaders of countries and companies still seem to believe
That they are in control
Whilst our planet boils
Arrogance, fear, denial and closed minds prevail
Whilst our planet boils
Why
Does our planet boil?
For too long we have seen planet Earth as being for our, exclusive, benefit
It is not
And that is why
Our planet boils
As mankind ‘developed’
We became disconnected
From nature
From the cycles and rhythm of life
So we didn’t see that our planet was warming up
And so now
Our planet boils
Unaware of the harm we were doing
We became spoilt
Expecting to be able to do what we wanted, where we wanted, when we wanted
Without appreciation
Without a thought
That we might be causing
Our planet to boil
And now we cannot
Or are not able
To admit
That we might
Have got it wrong
And that we have caused
And continue to cause
Our planet to boil
So long as politicians argue
Amongst and between themselves
Our planet
Will continue to boil
So long as business leaders
Continue to put
Profit before planet
Our planet
Will continue to boil
As long as we keep on buying
Things we don’t need
Our planet
Will continue to boil
So long as our ‘must have’ society prevails
Our home
Our one and only
Planet Earth
Will boil
Until
It boils away
Conscious Evolution 
LOL! Quite so. It just seems a little heartless to be so blunt about it . . . particularly when humanity COULD have evolved, well, to be more Taoist!

Yesterday afternoon I found a frog in the basement. Of course I went to the nearest creek to release him. The frog sat down on a stone and looked at me with its big black eyes for a long time. Really I stroked him and we came in a conversation and I asked him wether it wouldn’t be better to take him to my garden into the pond of the nature harmony station. Suddenly he jumped into the creek and swam away. Good bye! As I was about to continue my busy business a few people crossed my way and we came in a conversation too. It turned out that the most talkative of them was a teacher. And very soon we were in policies and in how to behave right and wrong and about that climate hysteria and what science says about it and so on… what teachers use to say. The argument about using less energy and slowing down the growth wheel doesn’t seem to have been in his tool box.
